Delete Your Account

EWA 365: Learn English Daily, by English With Anjana

You can delete your EWA 365 account and its associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what is removed, and what we keep.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the EWA 365 app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Enter your password to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out of every device.

Option 2: Ask us to delete it

If you cannot access the app, email ewa365@englishwithanjana.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my EWA 365 account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently erase:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your password
  • Your daily reminder settings
  • All sign-in sessions on every device

Once this is done, the account can no longer be signed in to and cannot be recovered. Deletion is permanent.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Anonymous lesson records (which day numbers were completed and the quiz scores) are kept with no name, email, or phone attached to them. They can no longer be linked back to you and are retained only as anonymous statistics about how the course is used.
  • Payment and invoice records, where you have made a purchase, are retained for 7 years because Sri Lankan tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. We cannot delete these earlier.

Important: deleting your account does not refund your purchase

If you bought lifetime access to EWA 365, deleting your account ends that access and it is not refunded. All payments are non-refundable. If you want your progress back later, you would need to register and purchase again.

Your website account is separate

Deleting your EWA 365 app account does not delete your englishwithanjana.com student account, classes, or recordings. To delete that as well, email us at the address above and say so.
